Smartwatch, a small smartphone-like device worn on the wrist. The best smartwatches are the ideal companions for your mobile device.
They connect to your phone, giving you another, smaller screen to view notifications, fitness tracking, and health tracking information.
Smartwatches are connected to notify the user of incoming calls, e-mail messages, and notifications from other applications. Some smartwatches can even make calls. Many smartwatches have colour displays.
The user can operate the smartwatch through a touch screen, physical buttons, or a combination of the two.
Many smartwatches also offer built-in music storage, GPS tracking, and even LTE support. Allowing them to replace your phone when you’re out for a run.
Newer smartwatches come with the latest and greatest fitness tracking features. Apart from standard features like the pedometers which track the steps you do daily and the activity tracking.
You can also get smartwatches that offer; heart rate monitoring, music storage, blood oxygen monitoring, stress level tracking, sleep tracking, and menstrual cycle tracking.
This increased focus on overall wellness has been particularly apparent from some of the latest smartwatches released.
What to Look for in Smartwatches
1. Operating System Compatibility
It makes very little sense in investing in a smartwatch that does not work with your device.
Most smartwatch operating systems including the ones in this article are compatible across operating systems.
2. Style and Fit
If you want a wearable smartwatch that changes well, smartwatches can move to fit with your schedule.
While many models favour a silicone band that’s friendly to sweat. You can purchase alternative styles and fabrics such as leather and swap them out as and when needed.
Smartwatch faces are another design aspect to consider when purchasing a wearable smartwatch for your lifestyle.
Perhaps you would like a device that plays the part of a smart device. As well as an analog watch that is always on display.
3. Battery Life
Most smartwatches are built to get you through at least one full day of work and workouts, if not a few.
It’s not unusual to recharge a smartwatch battery every few days, though most people will prefer a device that lasts closer to five days on a single charge.
But battery longevity depends on how you use your device. If you’re the exploratory type who’s always on the move, you’re better helped to find a device that has a longer life in the battery.
Added services such as mobile connectivity, music streaming, health-tracking features, and an always-on display can put added stress on battery levels.
4. Fitness/ Health Tracking
Smartwatches cover a wide area of “Smart Services” which range from smart notifications alerting you on texts, emails, and directly able to respond and make calls and stream and store music.
You even have the option to make contactless payments.
However, the other major part of a smartwatch is fitness tracking. These devices provide a helpful push in the right direction,

Having tried and tested the devices above I must say that I am in favour of the latter the Smartwatch, 1.3” Touchscreen Fitness Wristwatch. This device is also less expensive than the Smart Watch, Bluetooth Call Smart Bracelet for Sport.
Although they are very similar to many smartwatches available to purchase, the favoured device is the best smartwatch of the two.
The design is waterproof allowing you to use it in the swimming pool as many users would like to monitor their health and blood pressure in these environments.
I personally also really liked how you clip the charger on the watch and leave to charge knowing that if it falls the charger will not disconnect as it does on many magnetised smartwatches out there.
The device was easy and user friendly to use and set up. The manual includes a QR code which you scan to download the apps needed to connect to your mobile device, in doing so this allowed me to track my sleep pattern, health, pedometer and access my social media apps via the smartwatch.
The instructions and use were easy and very clear. I preferred the overall look of the device.
Although the Smartwatch, Bluetooth Call Smart Bracelet for Sport is also a good smartwatch. As it includes the apps and features such as WhatsApp, Twitter, the QR code is on the actual device itself to download the app.
However, the packaged manual that arrived did not provide clear instructions on the manual and had a lot of spelling errors which may be confusing for first-time buyers. The charging cable is also very small which became a nuisance for me as I could not play about with the device while it charged without causing discomfort.
I would recommend the Smartwatch, 1.3” Touchscreen Fitness Wristwatch as in my opinion this is the best smartwatch in comparison. For those who are starting a journey in the health and fitness world, it is waterproof, allowing you to use it in the swimming pool or shower.
The colourful screen is easy to navigate and use and to access your messages, social media, camera. The health tracking is also very accurate and will provide the user with clear results.
This review also depends on the users’ needs and requirements if you’re looking for simple health and fitness tracking and use in wet areas with access to your messages and socials this is the one.
However, there are many smartwatches out there within a higher price range that can provide voice text reading, automatic monitoring for those days you get up and run and realise, I didn’t set up your smartwatch.
I give this product a 3 STAR review because the Smartwatch, 1.3” Touchscreen Fitness Wristwatch is:
- Easy to use and set up
- Great for beginners
- Stays connected via Bluetooth
- Great quality for a non-brand
- lack of volume control
- Does not include in-ear sensor.
