Artificial Intelligence And Science
Artificial intelligence started to play a role in the world of science as early as in Second World War. During this time, machine learning’s foundations were developed by Alan Turing, along with his team. This happened when Alan and his team developed what was known as the Bombe Machine. The term Artificial Intelligence, however, was first mentioned in the year 1956. The mention was made by John McCarthy, a computer scientist of the time. Today, artificial intelligence is at a point where people from these times could not imagine. The world of science is one area that is greatly benefiting from the advancements that have been made in AI technologies. Just recently, scientists have started to consider generative modeling as one of the most important AI discoveries to date. Researchers now state that generative modeling could even be used as a new way of learning more about the universe.
