Speculations run high about the upcoming iPhone releases. Specific iPhone models are expected to launch this Autumn, while most of the Special Edition (SE) models might be getting delayed for 2021, stated Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at Apple. This Autumn, we are supposedly getting four iPhones with 5G. Unfortunately, with the current situation, manufacturing a device that will support the fastest generation of wireless tech could be facing a “probable delay risk”, according to The Verge. Plus, large scale production of the reputed iPhone with a 6.7-inch screen, might be postponed to October. In other words, we may not see the launch in September – the typical timeframe for iPhone releases. Here, we’ve gathered all the speculations and rumours about the newest edition iPhone 12.  New Apple iPhone 11 Pro smartphone

When Can We Expect the iPhone 12 to Come Out?

Since 2011, we’ve been getting new iPhone models late in the year. Therefore, many are expecting an announcement in September 2020. But, this time, it could be different. Most companies in the tech industry are under complete lockdown, but plans for the future iPhone releases are still underway. Despite the dedication and rigid schedule, the company is considering to delay production until 2021.  This is not the first time Apple has delayed a release. Back in 2017, the iPhone X was released a couple of weeks after the other models in November. In 2018, the same thing happened with the XR model. Instead of getting released in September, we got it in November. But, with the current outbreak, it’s reasonable to delay the 5.4 and 6.1-inch releases.

What About the Design of the 2020 iPhone 12 Pro?

Recently, we managed to get a good idea of what the iPhone device would look like. There have been plenty of rumours and leaks. Overall, we are expecting:

• Tinnier notch

• Bigger screen (6.7-inches)

• Thin Bezels (supposedly 0.9mm thinner compared to the 11 Pro Max)

• LiDAR sensor

• Four camera lenses

Regarding the handsets, we might be getting a completely new colour – navy blue. At first, the midnight green was announced, but it didn’t get the reactions it was hoping for, so the blue one could be getting more positive feedback this time.  All in all, the design is not entirely different from what we are used to, but it still delivers a unique feel to the phone. The spec, however, is something people are looking forward to.

The 2020 iPhone 12 Pro Is AR-Fit.

In 2019, the night mode and triple lenses were all the rage. But, 2020, is all about 5G and Augmented Reality (AR). Even before the iPhone 11 was launched, the 5G network was already talked about. It’s no wonder why the iPhone Pro is expected to be 5G compatible. When it comes to AR, every iPhone features an optical camera capable of handling AR. The cheaper models, however, can’t handle some of the more advanced Augmented Reality apps.  For a smooth AR experience, the iPhone needs a much faster processor. The new iPhone Pro is supposedly getting a fast processor, including some tweaks in performance for integrating better Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AR apps.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jehluGQyFLM

Final Thoughts

There are high hopes for the iPhone’s newest addition. Even though there is no information on the pricing yet, the device is going to be worth the investment. The price tag will probably reflect its most unique features, but it’s not expected to be over-the-top.  Despite the tweaks in performance, we are still getting a similar design. So, odds are the iPhone pro will be in a more affordable price range, just as you would get with any new iPhone. But, for more details, we will have to wait for an official announcement.
